Governance Committee

What does the Governance Committee do?

  • We develop and maintain rules that promote the organizational continuity of the LCDC.

  • We provide LCDC members with a place to consult about governance matters, and we maintain and periodically update the governing documents of the LCDC.

  • We monitor LCDC rules for compliance with those of the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party of Virginia, and all governmental laws and regulations applicable to our committee.
