What Can I Do Between Now and Nov. 5?
With Election Day fast approaching, there are many meaningful ways to support the Democratic Party and help ensure a strong voter turnout. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, every effort counts in mobilizing voters, sharing vital information, and building momentum in your community. Here are some practical ways you can make a difference in the next eight days.
Vote early
Here are just some of the reasons early voting is a great idea:
Streamline the process: Every early vote is like clearing the path for others. You're helping campaigns focus their energy where it's needed most. Did you know that campaigns keep track of who voted early. Once you vote, it cuts down on further contacts from them! When you vote early, you're giving Kamala Harris, Tim Kaine, and Suhas Subramanyam's teams the gift of efficiency. They can channel their resources like a precision instrument, reaching out to those who still need a gentle reminder.
Family-friendly flexibility: Got a busy schedule? Early voting adapts to your life, not the other way around. It's democracy that works for you!
Beat the school break rush: Attention parents! There are 4 out of 5 days of no school from Friday, Nov. 1 until Election Day. Don't let your vote get lost in the shuffle of entertaining kids or planning activities. Vote early and sail smoothly into the break!

Canvass
Canvassing is one of the most powerful ways to make Harris/Kaine/Subramanyam victories happen. By knocking on doors and talking directly with voters, you're building personal connections, sharing our Democratic vision, and addressing concerns in real-time. These one-on-one conversations create a lasting impact and motivate people to get to the polls. Your efforts on the ground can truly make the difference between winning and losing—every conversation counts!
There are opportunities every weekend until Election Day. Now is the time!

𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗲 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝗻!) 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗲 – 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂! 💖 Please join the Loudoun Democrats in walking in this year's Halloween Parade in Leesburg. Bring your daughters, moms, sons, dads, neighbors, friends – the more Barbies and Kens, the merrier (and all the more impactful)! Many of us are planning to wear pink Barbie jumpsuits, but you can come as any Barbie you want...the sky's the limit! Or just wear a pink T-shirt if costumes aren't your thing. The other side is likely to have a strong presence, so we need to show up in numbers too big to ignore and share our joy! "Madam President" and "Harris/Walz 2024" sashes will be provided to the first 47 participants. Please arrive by 4:30 p.m., as the Leesburg Police Department will start shutting down roads by 5 p.m.
